Game is a variation on the Josephus Problem.

Story

You are the captain of a group of soldiers waiting to be captured and tortured by Romans.  The group has decide it would be better to kill each other rather than be captured.  To do so each solider is given a random weapon and pulls a number of stones from a bag to determine in what order they will act. All solider have already choose their weapon and stones, and are currently getting in a circle. You are the last to choose where to stand  and wish  to be the last standing, though you wish to shed as little of your comrades blood  as possible. Think fast the Romans will be upon you soon.

Gameplay Details

1) Every solider has one of four weapons:

  • A sword that will be used to kill the person on their left. (ie clockwise)
  • A sword that will be used to kill the person on their right. (ie counter-clockwise)
  • An axe that will be used to kill the people on both left and right, on the same turn.
  • A bow that will be used to kill the people furthest from them. (this will kill 2 if they are equally far)

2) Weapons  and turn order cannot be changed.
3) Your weapon and turn order (along with time) are displayed at the top of the screen.
4) Solider's act in turn order (looping) until either 1 or 0 remain.
5) All solider's acting on a turn act at the same time, meaning it is possible for 2 soldiers to kill each other.
6) You must be the last alive.
7) You may only kill 1 or 0 of you comrades. (be sure to note if you are using a bow)
8) If you and another solider kill a third at the same time it still counts as a kill for you.
9) You only have 1 minute per round.
10) Left click to choose your location, progress through turn order, and reset/continue.

Notes

If their are N people in the circle before you stand in it their will only be N places where you can stand. Once you are standing in the circle their will be N+1 places a new person could stand. ie sometimes it can seem like your unable to get between 2 people but you should always be able if you think of it in terms of whom your standing between
