Controls

  • wasd - to move
  • qe - to rotate targeting region
  • scroll wheel - to scale targeting region

Gameplay

The most important info: damage is scaled based on both % of ship hit and % of targeting region occupied by a ship. ie the more closely you match a region to a ship the closer you get to full damage.

This means their is a trade off between creating large regions to gain info on where ships might be and small regions to deal maximum damage.

You can also move your ship if you confident where other ships are. New ships are spawned and targeting regions granted as turns progress.

Non-gameplay Notes

I'd get to spend nearly as much time as I wanted on developing this idea, as life threw me a couple curve balls. If you think the core underlying idea is good leave a comment and maybe I'd spend time developing it into a more full game.
